1. Operator and service

Violune is a private iPhone calendar. The service includes the website, iOS app, and an API for optional backup and synchronization between the account owner's devices. The calendar works offline; there are no public profiles or public sharing of entries.
2. Accepting these terms
Registering in the iOS app, including checking the box accepting these Terms, is acceptance of these Terms and forms an agreement with the operator. At registration, the user also acknowledges the Privacy Policy .
Consent for entries that may characterize intimate life is collected through a separate checkbox and is governed by the standalone Special Category Data Consent .
The Russian-language version of these Terms prevails in the event of a difference in legal interpretation.
3. Simple electronic signature
The parties agree that checking a registration checkbox and actions performed through a confirmed email address are the user's simple electronic signature, equivalent to a handwritten signature. This agreement is made under Federal Law No. 63-FZ on electronic signatures and provides the written form for consents and other confirmations where written form is required.
4. Account
An account uses an email address and password; the address is confirmed with a code. The user is responsible for access credentials and activity in the account. Access may not be shared or used to access another person's account. The account can be deleted in the app settings; deletion also removes synchronized entries as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. User content
Calendar entries, including notes and additional fields, belong to the user. Violune has no public sharing, public profiles, or publication of entries. The user grants the operator only the limited right to store, transmit over a protected channel, and display entries selected for sync to the extent needed to operate the service. The user remains responsible for the lawfulness of content added to Violune.
6. Free service
Violune has no paid services as of this revision. If paid features are introduced, the operator will publish a new version of these Terms and, where needed, a separate public offer before charging for them. No payment is required for the current features.
7. Prohibited actions
violate the laws of the Russian Federation or third-party rights;
seek unauthorized access to accounts, the API, infrastructure, or other users' data;
interfere with the service, bypass technical restrictions, scrape data automatically, or distribute malicious code;
use Violune for spam, fraud, or unlawful content.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and as available. The operator does not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation and is not responsible for inability to use the service due to matters outside its reasonable control. The user understands that offline entries depend on the device and its backups. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes to these Terms
The operator may update the service and these Terms. The current version, date, and revision are published on this page. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or to the confirmed email address. Continuing to use the service after publication means accepting the updated Terms; changes requiring separate consent are not accepted by silence.
